Alphabetize your albums to make them easy to find for your next home project whether you DIY or hire a professional.

Search other neighbor's (members) photos of craft projects, holiday ideas, recycled furniture or remodeled rooms and e-mail them to a friend.

Build a collection of photo albums, organize by categories, tag a particular element in an image by writing a description for future reference.

Outdoor Spaces

Outdoor spaces are referred to as outdoor rooms these days. What ever they are called, if you love the outdoors like I do, you will enjoy having an outside dinning area or an area to sit and relax.

Building a nice deck or porch on the back of your house would be ideal........but if it's not in the budget, squaring off an area and placing patio pavers on the ground will also work to create outdoor spaces.

You can find stones in different size, shapes and colors at Lowes and Home Depot for making small walls or borders, or for making a fire pit. No mortar needed for the stones, just stack them.

Since I mentioned a fire pit......a truck wheel rim makes an ideal fire pit. When we rented a cabin this summer, the cabin had a couple fire pits and they were made with truck wheel rims. They had already acquired the rust patina.

Designer Lighting

You don't have to spend a small fortune on designer lighting to have lighting with style. Decorative lighting comes in many shapes, sizes and prices.

I have an obsession for table lamps, floor lamps, and pendant lamps. I love lighting with candles and setting the ambiance for a room or even the outdoors.

Trash to Treasure Crafts

Art isn't limited to paintings or photography. Art can be made from a variety of materials. For a unique art piece mix it up with interesting architectural pieces.

I'm an artist and I enjoy painting and drawing, but I also enjoy creating interesting art pieces like the shutters pictured. You don't have to know how to paint, draw or take pictures, just a little imagination is all that's required to create a unique craft project.
