Architectural Candle Holders

These upcycled candle holders can pass for old architectural pieces.

The painting technique required layers of paint to achieve a worn vintage appearance. Wood pieces were joined together to make a chunky 11" x 7-1/2" candle holder.

Railing post were cut to size and painted with the same distressing technique. Jar lids were upcycled as metal candle trays for each candle holder. All the candle holders are trimmed with a sinamay mesh (woven straw). The railing post candle holders measure 8-1/2" x 4" and 14" x 3-1/2"
