Banana Pudding Recipes
Banana Pudding with Vanilla Wafers
Of all the banana pudding recipes this is my favorite dessert my mom would always make when I was a kid.
I haven't had banana pudding with vanilla wafers in a long time so I recently made it for a family
picnic we had at our house.
Banana pudding with vanilla wafers is a very simple dessert you can make without looking at a recipe.
I made the pudding the night before and put it all together just before the picnic. The most time consuming
thing is waiting for the pudding to bubble and thicken.
Pictured is the banana dessert in a large trifle bowl. You can layer the pudding, cookies and vanilla wafers
in any type of dish you want to use.
Ingredients for a Large Trifle Bowl;
- 3 Boxes Vanilla Pudding ( My mom always used Jello Cook and Serve
pudding and pie filling )
- 6 Bananas
- 1 Box Vanilla Wafers
Cook pudding according to package instructions. Set aside and let cool, place pudding in the refrigerator until
ready to assemble. Assemble dessert about an hour before eating. Alternate layers, pudding, vanilla wafers and
sliced bananas. Garnish the top with additional wafers and bananas. Refrigerate until ready to eat.
Makes about 12 servings.
