Cocktail Meatballs
For a hearty hors d'oeuvre try these cocktail meatballs. Fill your chafing dish high because they will be a huge success. My brother-in-law expects them at all family gatherings when the get together is at our house. This cocktail meatball recipe has been a family tradition for many years. As with all recipes we pass along, the cocktail meatballs are tasty and simple to make. You can simplify the process even more by purchasing already made cocktail size meatballs. All you really need is meatballs, grape jelly and Chili Sauce. For best results, prepare and cook the day before. This gives the sauce a chance to soak into the meatballs for a better taste. Jennifer (our daughter) browns the meatballs and places in the crock pot with the other ingredients to slow cook. A crock pot is a good way to keep them warm, just have plenty of toothpicks handy for easy eating. Ingredients for Meatballs; Your favorite meatball recipe or purchased meatballs.
