Fall DecorationsHalloween and Fall decorations are easy to combine. When Halloween is over a few simple adjustments are all that is needed to keep the decorations though the Fall season. Of all the seasons I have the most fun decorating for autumn. It's so easy to get inspiration from natures vibrant colors of yellows, oranges, reds, purples and greens. I have fun gather some of nature's materials such as acorns, colored leaves, and corn husks to come up with some amazing ideas. I prefer working on simple decorating projects that make big statements. Here are a few simple ideas of how to blend Halloween and Fall decorating. No fuss easy ideas that make the statement that summer is over and Fall has arrived. For the outside entrance use a couple Halloween decorations such as this witch pictured. She hangs out through Halloween and is easily removed when Halloween is over. The terracotta pumpkins light the path for trick-or-treaters and are easily transformed into vases for cornstalk for the rest of the Fall season.
By the end of September most summer pots are looking pretty tired and ready for a change. Replace them with mums for a big impact and a statement that fall has arrived. Gather other potted plants for the front entrance that will add to the Fall season feel such as ornamental grasses. Make an easy door wreath to add the final touches to your Fall decorating.. You probably have wreaths hanging around in the garage that can be wrapped in corn husk. The wreath pictured is a vine wreath about 20" in diameter. No glue needed, just wrap and tuck the ends of the corn husk around the vines. Continue all around the wreath until it's covered. Finish with a few ears of Indian corn tied with twine.
These are simple decorating ideas but they make a big statement. Ideas that are easy on the pocket and take little decorating effort for a big impact that Autumn has arrived. Share this page with your Facebook friends by clicking the Like button. Return from Fall Decorations
