Halloween Candles

halloween candles

Here's a great way to recycle glass jars by making these cute Halloween Candles. The recycled glass jars are also cute as Halloween candy jars. Just top them with a hat made out of colored tissue paper and cornstalk.

It's funny how one idea can snowball into many different ideas.

I've also been having fun exploring SpiritHalloween.com an online Halloween super store that has some pretty good deals and inexpensive shipping. With our grandkids being out of state, shipping items direct is a great time and money saver.

I was searching home decorating sites for fall decorating ideas when I came across these cute Halloween Candle Jars. This idea came from seeing a Glowing Jack O'Lantern that was developed from reading about an idea on another site. All of this lead to me making pumpkin jar candles.

It seems I'm not the only one that saves glass jars. I was saving glass jars to make snow globes, but this idea was so cute I couldn't resist making a few pumpkin candles. I used glass paint instead of using mod podge and tissue paper like the Halloween Candle Jar and the Glowing Jack O'Lantern.

They are adorable sitting on a mantel, a window sill or lighting your porch for trick-or-treaters. These Halloween candles are also an easy Halloween art project for the kids to make.
