Strawberry Spinach Salad Recipe
This is a simple strawberry spinach salad recipe that is perfect for the summer months as well as the holiday season
due to its vibrant red and green colors.
This recipe will only take a short time to put together and will make about 4 side salads. For more flavor make about
2 hours ahead of serving time and let chill. This will allow the ingredients to marinate.
Ingredients:
- 1 Bunch (Bag) Fresh Spinach
- 2 Cups Fresh Sliced Strawberries
- 1/4 Cup Vegetable or Olive Oil
- 3 Tablespoons White Wine Vinegar
- 1/4 Cup Sugar
- 1/4 Teaspoon Paprika
- Sesame Seeds
- Poppy Seeds
Thoroughly rinse the spinach and let dry in a colander. Next pull all of the stems from the spinach and tear
leaves in half.
Rinse and slice 2 cups of fresh strawberries.
In a large bowl add the vegetable oil, white wine vinegar, paprika and sugar. Stir with whisk until blended.
Add spinach and strawberries to mixture and toss lightly with large spoon. Sprinkle sesame seeds and poppy seeds over salad
and toss until seeds are evenly spread over spinach.
Let chill for one or two hours before serving.
